Maybe tomorrow will be better
And my dreams would not be shattered,
Perhaps I’ll stop saying maybe
Thinking through a bottle of whiskey ,
Even when I’m playing blind
And do not like what I find.
I must have the power to believe
Life is to be lived
And tomorrow would not be like today
Nor today as it was yesterday,
Everything depends on me
To stop thinking “maybe”
Nice poem Adrian thanks for posting it.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I also end up quite often saying “maybe”. Well, if that keeps us going, it should be helpful to some extent. Great poem, just like many others!
Than you Inese for your kind words.
